Purple
Where are the purple people?
The red states and blue states united
across party lines to do what is best
for the nation as a whole?
I know they are out there.
Purple prose floods the internet,
trading insults for the sake of insults,
ignoring facts, inflating errors,
barely stopping to take a breath–
wait, that’s not what I meant
by purple people. Oops.
